Giving Tuesday is a global initiative that encourages people to donate to charitable causes on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving.
It is in direct contrast to the frenzy of shopping that accompanies Black Friday and Cyber Monday immediately before.
Please take the opportunity this year on Giving Tuesday to contribute to the Antietam Institute fundraising campaign to provide Civil War Trails signs marking battle events on the Harpers Ferry Road and at the Antietam Creek Vineyard at the southern end of the field.
